About Oshtemo Charter Township

Oshtemo Charter Township is the third-largest municipality in Kalamazoo County. We’re west of the City of Kalamazoo and north of Texas Township. The township is home to 24,000 residents and a number of businesses, especially along the US-131 corridor from the business loop to Stadium Drive as well as M-43 and 9th Street. We work to balance our steady growth with careful planning and emphasis on the ability to provide safety and security while simultaneously preserving natural areas and creating space for recreational activities.
