Chief Barnes

Greetings from the Fire Chief!

From all of us at the Charter Township of Oshtemo Fire Department, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  It is our mission to provide the best   proactive and emergent service possible to everyone who finds themselves in our community.  As you will see during your exploration of our website, we provide a variety of services and are here for one reason – to help you. Our firefighters are some of the best in the country and are extremely proud of their Department.  With their strong desire to serve, comes true ownership in this organization. An ownership that has been forged by a belief in the core values of respect, responsibility and pride which we have incorporated into our mission statement.

I would like to offer a personal invitation for you to visit any of our fire stations and meet some of the best firefighters in the nation.

With respect, responsibility and pride, we exist to help you.

Mark L. Barnes, CFO
Fire Chief
