Planning Director Stefforia advised the Board they were being asked to reconsider the offer from Harrison Building LLC as approved at the August 30th special meeting. The new proposal is for a 6.1 acre parcel approximately 440" by 600" of the rear acreage rather than frontage on Stadium Drive with the Township paying all sewer and water hook up and related charges.
Motion by Brown, second by Rakowski to accept the change in the description of the parcel being purchased, however, the Township would not pay any sewer and water fees for the purchaser. Carried.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT FEES
Building Official Bob Horton reviewed with the Board his proposal for Building Department fees effective January 1, 2005. He advised he would recommend a 15% increase in remodel fees for residential, commercial and industrial permits, a flat fee $144.23 for all pools and fences, and using the Building Valuation Data table as compiled by the International Construction Code, currently used for commercial for calculating residential permits. He also recommended increasing electrical and mechanical permit base fees by $15.00, re-inspection fee to $144.23, and special inspections and working without a permit to $55.00.
Motion by Bushouse, second by Corakis to place this item on the October 26th regular meeting agenda and direct Mr. Horton to notify the Home Builders Association.
The Board discussed and finalized budget figures for 2005 fiscal year. Public hearing for the 2005 budget will be held at the November 9th regular meeting agenda.
